I agree, maybe if we even just tried Washingtons advice for a little bit we could see if we liked the turnout and then decide if we want to keep the ideas. If we dont try, who knows we could fall. I also agree that Washington wanted us to remain nuetral so we dont fall later on in the united states. American ships might be attacked and sunk and attacks on US territory might occur. He obviously concluded that the potential benefits from such entanglements did not justify their costs and risks.

For example, if America was to choose between Great Britain or France it would be highly recommended to stay neutral; and not choose a side. Washington most likely warned us to stay neutral because it would be the safest choice. In example, when I say safest, I mean if America were to pick a side, it would most likely end up in war for betrayal of the country they did not pick. It would be safest to not pick a side and avoids war, in other words, stay neutral. I do agree that America should go to being neutral like Washington said. I think this way because we could have prevented the amount of debt and war we got ourselves into at the time, and the debt and wars we will get ourselves into in the future. George Washington was right in many ways to warn us about staying neutral towards other countries' beings.
