What does this quote mean to you?
history is recorded events that took place in the past. history is important beacause it can help you not make the same mistakes as others. it also is so you know why present day things are how they are.

DeleteHistory is a bunch of past events dealing with presidents, heroes, and important people. Every year there is a new piece of history. To me history is like a look into the past. Not like time machine look but like reading about it, learning about it, and teaching about it.

History is knowledge that is recorded and explains past events. The past is important to remember because we don't want negative events in history to repeat it's self.

Delete2. To me this quote means that if you want something in the present, look to the past, retrace your steps and see if you find what you are looking for. For example, if you have a test and can't remember anything think as hard as you can to try to remember somethimg that your teacher said or what you studied. I also think this means remember your tasks and your life will be easy.Also, listen to people and respect what they say and you won't have you panic about not remembering something from the past or not understanding something.

what the quote means to me is that you don't have to go way in the past to find out how we got here.
ReplyDeleteexample: (might not make any sense but it is just a example) lets say that you needed to do a report about something that you learned about in class. then you remembered that you learned something cool about the past. see you only need to go a day in the past to remember what what you learned now you might get an A- through an A+!!
History is the recorded events that have happened in the past. History is also very important because how else would we know about the greeks, Incas, or even Columbus and how the USA was founded.

History to me is our recorded past. It can be secondary or primary history. Either way it’s still events that were written down (unlike prehistory which was history before anything was written down). It’s important that our past was recorded or we would have no knowledge about anything our ancestors did for us, or anything that leaded us to now. We would also not know of any bad events that happened to the world and how to prevent those events from happening again. If we didn’t have any history written down the world would be filled with unanswered questions and problems. More than the amount we have today.

For example you can't solve a mystery unless you know the problem or situation at first. You need to know the cause before you understand the effect.
I think history is something that happend in the past. for exzample,Gerge wasington becomeing the first president. realy history can be anything. I made history by puting on my shirt on this morning because it was somethin that happend. so thats whut i think history is.

History is the stuff that happened and was really important just like the wars that has happened in our 50 states. History is really important because it lets us know what has happened before we were born and why we have laws today for different and several things.
